# Prepare a real Maahir learner story

This checklist helps prepare evidence for review. It is not a consent form or permission to publish.

## Keep the learner in control

- Explain where the story, image, voice and project might appear.
- Record permission for each proposed use and an appropriate contact for changes or withdrawal requests.
- Follow appropriate parent/guardian and safeguarding procedures for minors.
- Do not make publicity a condition of learning support.
- Do not assume a learner wants disability, family, financial or health details disclosed.

## Show the work

- What was the starting task or barrier, in the learner's own words?
- What did they attempt first?
- Which Maahir activity, tool, feedback or human support did they use?
- What changed in the revised work? Keep dated examples where permission allows.
- What did the learner do, and where did AI or another person assist?
- What can they now explain or demonstrate? What still needs practice?

## Verify claims

- Do not turn an illustrative project into a paid client project.
- Verify any named client, employment, sales, award or numerical improvement before publishing.
- Keep private contact details, credentials and identifying records out of screenshots.
- Separate personal testimony from independently checked outcomes.
- Obtain permission for third-party project assets and client information.

## Suggested short video outline

1. The task or goal.
2. A first attempt.
3. The guidance or practice used.
4. A revised output and the learner's explanation.
5. A limitation and next step.
