# Maahir — a practical learning pilot your team can evaluate

A Server4Sale Initiative | Discussion draft | 7 October 2026

## Purpose

Help a defined group develop practical capability through AI foundations, exercises, role-play, projects and reviewed attempts. Learner access is free. Delivery resources and responsibilities must still be agreed. This is not a fixed-price offer, funding award or confirmed partnership.

## Choose a starting group

- Women building confidence, communication and a manageable offer.
- Young people preparing a work sample and an honest interview explanation.
- Learners who need remote access or individual accessibility arrangements.
- Communities with a lab or classroom that needs a supported practice programme.
- Teachers preparing reviewed explanations and learning activities.
- Small enterprises improving one real customer or operational task.
- Service teams practicing clear communication and responsible AI workflows.

The companion programme briefs describe proposed activities, outputs, limitations and SDG alignment. Select one initial audience rather than treating every route as a single intervention.

## Questions for an internal approval meeting

1. Which problem do participants actually face? How do we know?
2. Who can participate, and who might be excluded by device, timing, language or travel requirements?
3. What practical work should participants be able to explain at the end?
4. What support is available, and which commitments remain unconfirmed?
5. What information is needed for delivery? Can less sensitive information meet the need?
6. Who reviews safety, work quality, accessibility and complaints?
7. How will we distinguish activity from capability and longer-term results?
8. Who decides whether to continue, adapt or stop the pilot?

## Responsibilities to agree

| Area | Maahir discussion role | Partner discussion role | Agreement needed |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Learning | Activities, platform orientation, practice routes | Local needs and useful challenge briefs | Scope and availability |
| Access | Activity/device guidance | Facilities, outreach, connectivity support | Individual access checks |
| Coaching | Proposed coaching/peer-support model | Local facilitators and mentors | Hours, response times, escalation |
| Safeguarding | Platform boundaries and referral coordination | Local safeguarding arrangements | Named accountable leads |
| Evidence | Rubrics and proposed reporting approach | Work reviewers and follow-up support | Consent, access, retention and review |
| Technology | Platform and integration scoping | Approved systems and permissions | Data, security, hosting and ownership |

These are discussion roles, not contractual commitments.

## Resource categories — price after scoping

- AI usage and platform capacity.
- Coaching, facilitation and specialist review.
- Devices, connectivity and accessible delivery arrangements.
- Outreach, onboarding and learner follow-up.
- Translation, localisation and content quality review.
- Reporting, consent administration and safeguarding support.
- Separate production costs for real applications: APIs, hosting, maintenance and security review.

For each category, identify the provider, basis of estimate, quantity, unit cost, ceiling and treatment of overruns. Do not publish an invented cost per learner. Cash and in-kind support should be recorded distinctly.

## Proposed evidence plan

Record an initial attempt and a later comparable task. Use a documented rubric covering accuracy, reasoning, communication and revision as appropriate. Keep evidence proportionate and permission-cleared.

Report separately:

1. People enrolled, attending and withdrawing.
2. Activities attempted and outputs submitted.
3. Work reviewed against agreed criteria, including missing evidence.
4. Demonstrated capability and remaining gaps.
5. Later applications, interviews, employment or business results only where verified with permission.

Platform activity alone is not proof of income or employment. SDG alignment is a proposed contribution to relevant targets, not UN endorsement or independently evaluated impact.

## Decisions before delivery

Agree audience, size, eligibility, duration, schedule, resources, escalation, data handling, evaluation and the authorised decision-makers. Confirm which platform capabilities and integrations are ready and which need development or specialist review.

## Next step

Send a short outline of your audience, need, existing resources and a useful first task to hello@maahir.io. Avoid identity documents, learner health details and private records in an initial enquiry.
