Answer “What can you actually do?”

You have studied, but your CV lists courses rather than evidence. An interviewer asks for an example of your work.

The practice brief

Prepare a 60-second explanation of a small enquiry tracker built with fictional data.

AI can support preparation and feedback. The learner still makes an attempt, checks the work and explains the choices.

  1. Describe the problem: enquiries had no owner or follow-up date.
  2. Show the fields, one test and a change made after feedback.
  3. Explain your contribution and what would need checking before real use.

A starting prompt to adapt

Ask for practice.
Not just an answer.

Act as an interviewer for a junior operations role. Ask one question at a time about my fictional enquiry tracker. After I answer, identify one vague claim and ask for evidence. Do not invent my experience.

Use fictional or approved information. Adjust the prompt to your context and the tools available in your learning route.

The human situation

What would you say next?

Pause and make your own attempt before opening the example. There is more than one appropriate response.

“Did you build it yourself, or did AI do everything?”

See one response to practice
“AI helped me draft the structure. I chose the fields, tested missing dates and duplicate entries, and revised the layout. I can show those tests and explain the choices.”

Review the attempt: Can someone understand the problem, your contribution and one limit without seeing your entire project?

Something you can show

A short project explanation, a tested work sample and an honest CV bullet.

Your next step

Ask a mentor to challenge the explanation, then adapt it to a relevant role.

Keep the first attempt and the improvement. Explain what changed, what you checked and what still needs support.

Thinking about enrolling?

Make this your starting point.

Start with this practical goal: A short project explanation, a tested work sample and an honest CV bullet. This is a suggested learning goal, not a promised enrollment outcome.

1. Bring a real question

Describe what you want to improve and what you have already tried. Use fictional or anonymised examples, not private client, student or workplace records.

2. Try the learning experience

Explore the demo. Start with AI foundations if the tools are new to you, then look for a relevant exercise, role-play or practice format. Check the activity on your device.

3. Register and choose a next step

Use the registration page to review the current intake and requirements. Plan time to attempt, check and improve your work. Confirm any coaching or access support you need.
